Being sponsor for some athletes of Team USA, BP wanted to create an engaging and attractive project within their space in USA House during the time of the London 2012 Olympics. BP has more than 23.000 employees in the US and we wanted to showcase their support as well as allow visitors to USA House to leave messages of support to the athletes of Team USA which were frequent guests in USA House. The messages were collected via a website and then integrated into a touchscreen installation which included detail pages for each of the nine Team USA athlete ambassors who are sponsored by BP. The detail pages included video loops and image galleries as well as the athletes biography making them an engaging element of the installation. Users were able to add their own messages of support and view all messages that were left by BP employees and other guests from USA House.
